Pasta Brioni is one of my favorite Italian restaurants to order from. The food always comes fresh and warm. The chicken parm (pasta AND sub) are unreal. I also love their penne alla vodka!
Wonderful food and the presentation was amazing! Servers were very friendly and make sure you have what you need, even boxed our food for us! Ps save room for dessert the cannolis and the pumpkin cheesecake were delicioussss
Question: Is lasagna just spaghetti cake? October 17th is National Pasta Day. Let's talk pasta! Buon appetito! We came to Pasta Brioni for AZ Restaurant Week as a party of six. I got the $33 offering with caesar salad, rigatoni four cheese, and a traditional cheesecake for dessert. I also did the $20 add-on for the wine pairing. While their caesar salad was pretty standard, I really enjoyed my rigatoni four cheese. Fontina, gorgonzola, parmesan, and provolone sauce drowns housemade rigatoni pasta and ohhhh yeeeessssss! Love me so cheese. The cheesecake was also a delicious treat but how can you go wrong with cheesecake? Pasta Brioni, est. in 1993, is a great place and I'm glad to have finally given them a try. They're an old-school Italian place with lots of maroon. Oscar, our waiter, was super friendly and the vibes were just right. Also loved the company I was with so it was a great and successful Restaurant Week tasting!
How can one not have wonderful time at Pasta Brioni? Old style Italian family restaurant, Sinatra crooning on the speakers, fresh pasta being made in the kitchen. Nice! A big thank you to Miss Diane M. not only for suggesting Pasta Brioni, but also thinking to add us for the evening. Even though my arch-nemesis Miss Joyce opposed vig-orously ;) I showed up anyway. There was wine, there was song, there were terrific dishes which we devoured. Manga Manga! Came to Pasta Brioni for AZ Restaurant Week. We all ordered from the 35/55 dollar menu and most opted for the wine pairing which turned it all festive and fun-filled. 3 course dinner included Salad (antipasta) Main course (secondo) and Dessert (dolce) Oscarito was our seasoned server making the evening memorable and delightful. Next time we come here, definitely will ask for his section. Dishes ordered came out plentiful & overloaded with food! *First course: Caprese salad was eye appealing and didn't disappoint. Fresh mozzarella and tomatoes, yum! Caesars salad was a bit lacking. The entire night I was tossing and turning in bed wishing I had ordered the Caprese. Next time. (I still ate the entire caesars :) *Second course: This is where we got to see the variety of dishes as we all ordered different entrees: -Chicken Parmesan was humongous! Was served on spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce and topped with mozzarella. It could feed two people, or one jon. Got to taste and was delish. -Rigatoni Four Cheese was so cheesy good, Miss Joyce insisted it was a 5 cheese rigatoni. She enjoyed her 4 Cheese Rigatoni like mouse in a New York Kitchen. Miss Joyce stood up and shouted "4 stars for the 4 Cheese Rigatoni!" -Linguini Pescatore ordered by Miss Diane, was a medley of clams mussels calamari and shrimp.(please see photo) Portion was also large with lots of seafood in broth...yum -Veal Sorrentino served in marsala sauce topped with mozzarella cheese was delicious! Came with a side of penne pasta with marinara sauce which I scrapped the bottom of the bowl to get every bit of it! ******DESSERTS****** -Cannoli was very decent with a tasty shell filled with mascarpone and ricotta filling. -Three layer chocolate cake. -Traditional Cheesecake. The evening was enjoyed in terrific company of friends, good food, wine and song. Next time I'm ordering from the extensive menu to try other handmade pasta dishes. A Huge Plus is the wine list which goes on and on ;) with marvelous choices. +Pasta Brioni also has a to-go entrance separate from the main door entrance. I parked there for 20 minutes and noticed how busy the to-go section was. Impressively so. +Parking is not a problem as it is located in a large shopping center making it convenient. +Reservations not required but I would definitely make them since the day we arrived it was busy. I love how busy it was as many people looked like regulars. Good sign. As always, Thank You for reading! Enjoy life while staying safe!
An old time Scottsdale favorite and they never fail with well care cocktails, delicious food, and excellent service. I've been going here for 30 years and not once have I had a bad experience.
I ordered the starter size Caesar and the short rib ravioli and it was amazing!! Perfectly filling without feeling stuffed; and the short rib was cooked to perfection. I do wish there was a bit more meat in it but great nevertheless. The starter size was big enough to be spilt between two people as well! They were able to squeeze my best friend and I last minute; so the service is 10/10 as well. Very attentive and kind staff ! I had the best time; will definitely be returning soon
Wow! What an excellent dining experience! We had reservations for two, and had the pleasure of being served by Mike tonight for dinner. Starting off with their orange and hazelnut old-fashioned was an experience all in itself, and worth my trip out there! For dinner I had the chicken martini, which could not have been prepared any more decadent than it was. The food tasted great, the environment here is friendly, welcoming, and classy. We somehow managed to enjoy a piece of their amazing chocolate cake for dessert, before calling it a night. I will absolutely be back to enjoy more of their famous pasta options!
I tried Pasta Brioni for the first time during Phoenix restaurant week and my experience was wonderful! Upon being seated, bread and a rosemary infused butter was brought to the table that was extremely flavorful. I had the caprese salad, penne vodka, and chocolate cake, all of which blew me away! My friend had the Caesar salad, penne vodka, and the cheesecake which she said was one of the best cheesecakes she had ever had. The service at Pasta Brioni was extremely attentive! Someone was constantly checking on our table to refill our waters, bread, and make sure everything tasted good. The servers were very friendly, walking us through the menu and suggesting wine pairings for each of our courses. I will definitely be going back to Pasta Brioni for that penne vodka!
We came here for the second time, and it was during rhe holidays in December. We knew it was going to be busy, and the staff did not disappoint. They were welcoming and a pleasure to chat with and go through all the options for dinner. We had 4 adults and the food was amazing on everyone's entrees. We had the chicken Parmesan, spaghetti and Alfredo, veal, and a salad. It was really great all around and we have told many friends about Pasta Brioni! Thank you!
Our second time here. My husband couldn't wait to return but it is quite a distance to drive here. My son, who came with us the first time said he thought it was the best Italian food he has had in AZ so far. The veal chop with Marsala sauce was on the list of chef's specials for the night. (It changes daily). It is a scratch kitchen here and the pasta is made in house daily. Service from Geoff was excellent and the team works smoothly to take care of all our needs. The restaurant has outdoor seating, a bar lounge area with TVs and a quieter dining room. They brought us the wrong salad first but we didn't know it. Only knew it was yummy. Refreshing and flavorful, the "Garden Salad" became the one both of are instead of the chopped, which was very good but we had just had a rich and flavorful bruschetta board.
